Day 12

No exercise today due to an overworked foot. I've had a decent size hump on the top of my foot for about a week. Its been pretty painful when I step on the ball of my foot, it's a sharp shooting pain up to that bone. So I went to the doctor this am, and at first he said maybe a stress fracture, then he got to feelin' around on it and it's just overworked basically. He said he could feel the tissue on top of that bone move around, so I just have to take it easy til it goes away, maybe try an ace bandage to keep it tight. SO, if it happens to get worse over the next few weeks, I have to go back, do x-rays, and be off my feet for 2-3 weeks. So hope for the best for me. Thanks

Food for the day:
Breakfast-
2 servings of lower sugar apple & cinnamon oatmeal, cup of coffee
Lunch- Turkey sandwich(mustard, NY sharp cheese, honey wheat bread), 100 calorie pack of cheese nips, swiss miss pudding cup
Dinner- Ranchero Wrap(Jason's Deli), tortilla soup(Jason's), water

Taking care of yourself is as much of this journey as changing yourself.

I'm sure you will heal and be able to get back on the "horse".

In the meantime, I'm very proud of you for continuing to follow the diet.

Yeah he said to just take it easy, but don't stop. Take aleve and ice my foot after the workout.

jeez....your doc is a hard a**....well that stinks. like we need anything to make exercise more difficult! hope you're feeling better!
