Well I just did a tae-bo workout since we didn't go this am to the gym. I did the Billy Blanks bootcamp Mission 2- Maximum power, and I must say, it kicked my ass! lol But it was a good 45 min. of hard cardio which is what I def. needed! YAY!

Dinner- LC chicken & mushroom panini, salad w/feta, a couple croutons, salad toppins, salad spritzers balsamic breeze, water
Ok the story about the cake is: I got an email from a friend(thanks Sara) saying that she had lost 35lbs a few years ago and used to bake this when she wanted something sweet...so here it goes....
Just mix one can of diet soda with one box of cake mix, and bake according to the box directions. Ta-da! You have a cake. You can do any flavor combo you want. Choc cake with diet cherry soda, pineapple cake with diet 7up...whatever you like.
We used the French Vanilla cake w/diet cherry vanilla dr. pepper

We got to the gym a lil later today cuz I took the day off, so we wound up not having much time to work out since Jack still has to work. We almost did 45 min. But we both walked on a higher incline and really pushed ourselves since we didn't eat a good dinner last night.

Day 15 Weigh-in Week 2

So as you can see, I've lost 10 lbs. in 2 weeks. YAY!!! One thing I wanna know is why the hell men lose faster than women? Jack(my husband) has lost 19lbs, and we started this thing together, we eat pretty much the same things, and workout the same everyday. I just don't get it!

Ingredients
- 4 sprays olive oil cooking spray
- 8 medium corn tortilla(s), cut into 4 wedges each
- 1/2 tsp table salt
- 4 cup romaine lettuce, shredded
- 1 pound chicken breast, cooked, skinless, shredded
- 1 cup tomato(es), diced
- 1/2 cup shredded reduced-fat Mexican-style cheese
- 1/2 cup fat-free sour cream
- 1/4 cup salsa
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin, or Adobo seasoning
- 1/2 tsp hot pepper sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400ºF. Coat a large baking sheet with cooking spray.
- Arrange tortillas on baking sheet; spray tortillas with cooking spray and sprinkle with salt. Bake until golden, about 10 minutes.
- Arrange tortillas in bottom and up sides of 4 salad bowls. Place 1/4 of lettuce, chicken, tomatoes and cheese in each bowl.
- In a small bowl, whisk together sour cream, salsa, cumin and pepper sauce. Drizzle about 3 tablespoons dressing over each salad.
Notes
- This recipe is well-spiced but if you really want to turn up the heat, add a few dashes of hot pepper sauce.

Day 14
No exercise for today. Last night was a late night with the bands show. We had a good time, was feelin' good, and just wanted to sleep in. Sundays are our typical day to "sleep-in". I'm sittin' here right now trying to get motivated to clean the house, do laundry, typical "sunday routine".

Breakfast- Went to a local restaurant for breakfast had half a western omelet w/onions, pepper, ham, salsa. 1 biscuit, 1 piece of toast(lil butter & strawberry jam), half a portion of hashbrowns w/a lil heinz 57(jack had the other half).... about 3 very small cups of coffee.
Lunch- Probably won't eat lunch since we had such a big breakfast

Day 12
No exercise today due to an overworked foot. I've had a decent size hump on the top of my foot for about a week. Its been pretty painful when I step on the ball of my foot, it's a sharp shooting pain up to that bone. So I went to the doctor this am, and at first he said maybe a stress fracture, then he got to feelin' around on it and it's just overworked basically. He said he could feel the tissue on top of that bone move around, so I just have to take it easy til it goes away, maybe try an ace bandage to keep it tight. SO, if it happens to get worse over the next few weeks, I have to go back, do x-rays, and be off my feet for 2-3 weeks. So hope for the best for me. Thanks

Ok so I had to work at the Bbq store today which isn't completely great for the diet but its not too bad since I had lean brisket, and turkey. I also have been calculating my calorie intake and workout regime on "thedailyplate.com" (thanks Jack) which is an awesome FREE way to monitor your eating habits. So go check it out.
Exercise:
Treadmill- 40 min. = a lil over 2mil. & 406 calories burned
Food for the day:
Breakfast- half a cup of coffee, 1 serving pack of oatmeal maple & brown sugar
Lunch- 8oz of bbq brisket & turkey, a few pickles, 1 slice of cheddar cheese, a few onion slices(small), 1/4 cup of pinto beans, 1.5 cups of big red.
Dinner- 8oz. steak, new potatoes, salad w/carrots, dried cranberry, oranges, pecans, spritzer, asparagus w/creamy cheese sauce

Day 3
Yes I know there's not a day 1 or 2, cuz I just decided to do a blog for my weight loss. I will prob post what I eat on here cuz I think it will help me take a good look at what i'm putting into my body. I am currently around 280lbs. and my goal weight is about 130-140lbs.
On sunday Jack, my brother Anthony, and his fiancee Arielle went and joined a gym (gymx.com) and got a really great rate. Jack and I have been getting up at 4am to go workout and we both really like it. I have really stopped and taken a long hard look at the nutritional info on every food that I come in contact with and what i'm seeing is VERY alarming. No wonder "An estimated 97 million adults in the United States are overweight or obese." GEEZUS!!! That's ridiculous.
Today's Progress:
Treadmill 20 min.= 1 mile
Recumbent Bike 17 min.= 4 miles
Food for the day:
Breakfast- a bowl of total bran cereal, 1 cup of coffee
Snack- a 90 calorie Quaker mini delights peanut butter flavor
